Summer is here and the Department of Recreation and Youth Services is here to serve you. Find the details in our spring and summer program guide.  Looking to cool off?  Visit one of our six spray parks for free. Bring the whole family and stay for a while.  Our indoor aquatic programs at Belmont and Dabney pools offer several classes for the new and advanced swimmer.  We have "Revealed" the new and improved Northwest and Lohrey Recreation Centers for Spring and Summer programming. If you haven't already, you should stop by these centers and see the new look and amenities. You'll be amazed at the transformation.

The Downtown Summer Music series is back and we are excited about the three festivals (see below for details) happening in the heart of downtown Dayton. The festivals are free and this year, you can bike to them!

We are nearing the final phase of construction for a new recreation center; and it's the first multi-purpose recreation center the City has built in nearly 40 years! Stay tuned for updates and opportunities to be a part of this great new facility.

Girls' Fast Pitch Tournaments are happening again this year and we're doing two tournaments at Kettering Field from Wednesday, August 4 through Sunday, August 8. So with twice the number of teams and out of town visitors, we need volunteers. Interested? Contact 333-8400.
